Terminal 1 and 2 are within easy walking distance from the short and medium stay on site car parks
Birmingham Airport has two terminals, linked by a covered walkway. The terminal buildings are very close to each other, meaning that it is an easy 5-minute walk from one to the other. The Air-Rail link to Birmingham International Station departs from the first floor of Terminal 1.
Currently the only airlines operating from Terminal 2 are Ryanair and Flybe.
All other airlines and destinations depart from Terminal 1.
Check-in for both terminals is on the ground floor. After check-in, passengers should proceed through security on the first floor and into the Departure Lounge.
There is currently an ongoing project to merge the two terminals together into a single operation, with a combined security area. The One Terminal project should be fully complete for summer 2011.
